This month’s Amazon First Reads choices include eight e-books from a variety of genres. A few examples are a women’s fiction novel titled A Sky Full of Love by Lorna Lewis, a historical fiction novel called The Palace at the End of the Sea by Simon Tolkien, and a psychological thriller called A Bald-Faced Liar: A Novel by Victoria Helen Stone.
May’s free bonus short read is a psychological thriller titled Death Row, by author Fredia McFadden. The story is about a condemned murderess whose fate “takes a shocking turn.”
The best part about Amazon’s First Reads program is that there is something for everyone, and you can choose the free e-book you want based on your personal preferences. This month, I chose No Lie Lasts Forever: A Thriller by Mark Stevens as my free Kindle e-book.
While Amazon Prime is usually associated with fast, free shipping, its First Reads program is an underrated gem. It’s a great perk of the service worth checking out, especially if you’re an avid reader and have a Kindle device. If you’re not subscribed to Amazon Prime, you can still look at the books, but it will cost you $2 to choose one instead of being free.
